We love Wednesday Night Workshops at The Wedding Cafe! It was a full house on the 21st, and we were excited to showcase new and beautiful designs from some of our favorite designers.

Thanks and kudos to Christine Gardner of Flaunt for the fabulous make-up and hair on all the models (we hope you didn’t miss some of the hairpieces on the models… Christine showed off some of her “Attached” designs.) Speaking of models… so gorgeous – all of you. THANK YOU Danika, Leah, Nicole, Racine, and Tessa! We think you gals are the BEST.

And it’s always a grand time when you are working (are we REALLY?!… it’s like a party I tell ya!) with Kris Labang Photography, Phil of Phil’s Tux, DJ Jason of Exquisite Entertainment, Emcee Gregg Hammer, Lance and Adrienne of Elle Couture Jewellers, Vicki and CJ (Vicki just made us CRACK UP with her “tips”), and Leslie Fair… we could go on and on, but the one thing that is for sure, we “work” with some very talented and exceptional peeps. This list would not be complete without mentioning Tanna. T, you are awesome! Keep doing what you are doing girl. Thanks for always throwing the best events. Looking forward to the next one!

Wednesday Night Workshop @ The Wedding Cafe August 11, 2008

Filed under: events — thebridalboutique @ 2:14 pm

We were so excited to present three of our newest, prettiest, chicest, and modern wedding dress styles at The Wedding Cafe’s Wednesday Night Workshop series on August 6th! Our fabulous models graced the runway all glammed up by CJ, hair and make-up artist extraordinaire, of Naturally You. Speaking of our gorgeous models… THANKS goes to Tessa (Tanna’s sis), Jane (CJ’s friend), and Leah (Cecilia’s niece) for wearing the gowns SOOO well. You all looked AMAZING!

Tessa wore a beautiful Paloma Blanca silk and french lace gown, which featured a v-neckline, empire waist, mermaid silhouette and semi-chapel train.

Jane donned a graceful satin and organza gown by Jasmine which has lace detailing, off-the-shoulder portrait neckline, A-line skirt and chapel train.

Leah was in a fun and fancy Allure Couture taffeta bubble-skirted gown with a pleated bodice and chapel length train.

Kudos to Tanna, The Wedding Cafe queen diva, for putting together another successful workshop series!

Hawaii Bridal Expo – July ‘08 July 28, 2008

Between setting up the booth (thanks to On 3 Photography for the black curved pop-up display), mingling with our vendor friends, the fashion show frenzy, and greeting all the happy brides & couples…it certainly made for a whirlwind weekend! We loved chatting with all of you about your weddings and hope you’ll stop by the Boutique so we can continue the conversation and try on dresses, of course!

We featured two of our newest Jasmine designs on the mannequins: a satin, off-the-shoulder A-line gown with a gorgeous organza and lace overlay chapel train and a two-toned satin, strapless A-line gown with a vertical pleated empire bodice… both amazing on and priced right at under $1000.

For the expo fashion show we chose to show off three designers which can only be found at the Boutique: the short number is by Justin Alexander Couture, the all-over-lace halter with the deep plunging back is by Sarah Danielle, and the luxurious lace and charmeuse dress is designed by Paloma Blanca. Thanks to the models for making our dresses ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING on the runway.

Fall styles for bridal and bridesmaid are on their way to the shop, AND we will be introducing two new designers at the Boutique so keep checking our blog or go to the “designers” link at www.bridalboutiquehonolulu.com for the latest info.
