Filed under: bridesmaids, fashion — thebridalboutique @ 5:04 pm

Check it out!  Alfred Angelo Spring 2010 Bridesmaids Collection just in!

We have the hottest silhouettes of the season including cocktail length dresses, one-shoulder and halter styles, blouson bodices and trapeze dresses. New colors have also been added for 2010: Marine Blue, Petunia, Violet and Shamrock. And, this season we are excited about the newest bridesmaid fabric: printed charmeuse (check out styles 7059 and 7060!) which coordinates beautifully with solids in satin, chiffon and organza.

With the average maid’s dress price at $175, it works amazingly well with our special offering for November and December :)

With the holidays fast approaching, The Bridal Boutique is dedicated to serving the community as well as providing an awesome incentive for our brides!  This November and December, we will be holding a food drive to help The Hawaii Foodbank.  Bring in five (5) canned goods and receive a FREE bridesmaid dress with your purchase of $500 or more.

Find your dream wedding gown, outfit your bridesmaids, doll up your moms… just spend $500 at the Boutique and score a FREE bridesmaid dress!  How cool is that?

Blue Nalu Photography had a photo shoot yesterday for their Hawaii Bride and Groom magazine ad for fall/winter… and the photos are AMAZING! We love the pop of purple to complete her modern, sophisticated bridal style.

The Bridal Boutique provided the Alfred Angelo wedding gown (beautifully worn by Lindsey), which is priced nicely at $599  :)

A+ for Paloma! We just got word from our Paloma Blanca sale rep that a Paloma gown was worn by Sun, a prominent cast member, in the popular show Lost!! We absolutely LOVE Paloma wedding dresses and are so proud to be the exclusive retailer in Hawaii.

She is absolutely stunning in this all-over-lace, sweetheart neckline number. Check out the A+ grade on Entertainment Weekly online.

How much are those dresses in the window? (sung to “how much is that doggy in the window?”)

In March, a couple of our beautiful bridal and special occasion dresses will be front and center at The Wedding Cafe  :)

Every Sunday, we will switch it up to keep it fresh and new. If you happen to walk by this week here’s what you’ll see:

Joyce and Chloe

Oops, that’s actually Joyce and Chloe… here it is:

So the next time you are at the Cafe for your thirst quenching mango iced tea or yummy chicken walnut sandwich, the “IT” dress might appear right before your very eyes - just in time for you to say ”I do.”

We love Wednesday Night Workshops at The Wedding Cafe! It was a full house on the 21st, and we were excited to showcase new and beautiful designs from some of our favorite designers.

Thanks and kudos to Christine Gardner of Flaunt for the fabulous make-up and hair on all the models (we hope you didn’t miss some of the hairpieces on the models… Christine showed off some of her “Attached” designs.) Speaking of models… so gorgeous – all of you. THANK YOU Danika, Leah, Nicole, Racine, and Tessa! We think you gals are the BEST.

And it’s always a grand time when you are working (are we REALLY?!… it’s like a party I tell ya!) with Kris Labang Photography, Phil of Phil’s Tux, DJ Jason of Exquisite Entertainment, Emcee Gregg Hammer, Lance and Adrienne of Elle Couture Jewellers, Vicki and CJ (Vicki just made us CRACK UP with her “tips”), and Leslie Fair… we could go on and on, but the one thing that is for sure, we “work” with some very talented and exceptional peeps. This list would not be complete without mentioning Tanna. T, you are awesome! Keep doing what you are doing girl. Thanks for always throwing the best events. Looking forward to the next one!

Attached on Lei Chic

Attached-hairpieceWhen Christine Gardner of Flaunt Make-Overs asked us a couple of months ago if we would be interested in carrying her new line of hair accessories at The Bridal Boutique, it was a no brainer! We know how talented she is and it’s no surprise that she has expanded her repertoire by creating modern, trendy and BEAUTIFUL hairpieces for the bride. Prices are reasonable starting at $35.

While we were lucky enough to have featured her designs since September, Christine is officially debuting her pieces at The Wedding Cafe, Alliway, Global Village and of course The Bridal Boutique on Thursday, November 20th.

Attached-hairpiece 2Christine has also been featured on Lei Chic, Hawaii’s newest shopping and lifestyle publication. If you want to be in the know, sign up for your free daily email with insider tips on local fashion, shopping, events and more.
